PURSUIT OF EXCELLENCE IN
HEALTH AND FITNESS

NASM and the California University of Pennsylvania (Cal U) are proud to offer the Pursuit of Excellence in Health and Fitness Award. The award will be presented by NASM to coincide with Cal U’s December 2019 enrollment.

NASM and Cal U partnered in 2003 to deliver some of the nation's top online exercise science based degrees in the health and fitness industry. NASM is proud to support the development and professionalization of the health, fitness, performance and sports medicine industry through its higher education initiatives. Through our collaborative partnership with Cal U, NASM offers the Pursuit of Excellence Award.

Cal U is happy to announce the addition of three new concentrations in the Exercise Science and Health Promotion program. In addition to the five established concentrations, students can now focus in NutritionGroup Fitness Leadership, or Applied Sport Science. Students can also choose a dual concentration combing two concentrations within their degree program.

WHAT DOES THE WINNER OF
THE PURSUIT OF EXCELLENCE
AWARD RECEIVE?

The Pursuit of Excellence Award will be given to the top individual who received the highest application scores. The winner receives full tuition funding (valued at an amount to cover all 36 program credits*) to be applied toward a Master of Science in Exercise Science and Health at California University of Pennsylvania - in one of five specific tracks:

  • Wellness and Fitness
