The U.S. Fitness and Gym Industry Report estimates the industry is around $46 billion in 2025, and membership reached record highs (nearly 77 million Americans held gym or studio memberships). By 2030, U.S. industry revenues are projected to climb into the mid-$50 billion range (with global fitness industry forecasts growing approximately 9% to over $200 billion globally), according to the report.

Your military career helped you build resilience, adaptability, and teamwork. Becoming a Certified Personal Trainer for veterans brings the structure and accountability you valued in the field to every workout. CPTs lead by example, inspire others through challenges, and help clients achieve goals they never thought possible.

  2. Go Independent: Want more control? Offer in-home sessions or outdoor boot camps. You set the schedule and the rates.
  3. Train Virtually: Virtual coaching lets you work with clients anywhere, using video calls and apps to deliver personalized programs.
