What is NASM One™?

NASM One™ is an annual membership, that can be paid either monthly or yearly, for fitness, nutrition, and wellness professionals combining continuing education, certification discounts, client coaching software, and community support into one subscription. It costs $35/month when paying monthly or $349 when you prepay for the year in full. Members get unlimited access to 400+ CEU/CEC-eligible courses, 50% off nearly all NASM and AFAA certifications, the EDGE Trainer Pro coaching app, access to NASM Community™, waived recertification, renewal and re-test fees; and free course extensions.

How do I access my NASM One features and benefits?

Once enrolled, you'll have immediate access to your benefits. Simply log into your customer portal to explore continuing education courses and other resources. Some benefits — like EDGE™ Trainer Pro and exclusive discounts — are accessed separately, but are all designed to support your growth, streamline your journey, and help you thrive throughout your career.

How much does NASM One™ cost?

NASM One™ costs $35 per month (requiring a 12-month commitment) or $349 per year when prepaying in full. Monthly billing totals $420 annually; annual prepayment saves $71. Depending on the program selected, the NASM One™ certification discount alone (50% off most NASM courses) can offset a substantial portion of the membership cost.

How many CEU Library courses can I take?

You can take as many courses in the CEU Library as you'd like. NASM One gives you unlimited access to 350+ continuing education and business courses.*

What's included in NASM One™ membership?

NASM One™ includes unlimited access to 400+ CEU/CEC-eligible courses, 50% off certifications and specializations, 8 free specialization courses (including Behavior Change and Social Media Fitness Influencer), the EDGE Trainer Pro coaching app, membership in NASM Community, access to key insights, practical takeaways, and article quizzes from NASM's Journal of Fitness, Wellness, and Human Performance, and 1-on-1 guidance from NASM Success Coaches.

What is the 50% product discount?

Active NASM One members receive 50% off most NASM and AFAA courses, including continuing education and ongoing courses. However the following exclusions apply:

• Certified Personal Trainer programs and Certified Personal Trainer bundles

• Personal Trainer Certificate programs

• Exam-only and exam re-enrollment products

• Recertify-for-Life products

• Any administrative fees, such as late fees, extension fees and CEU petition fees

• Courses already included in NASM One

Who is NASM One™ for?

The membership covers both initial career development and ongoing professional growth through continuing education, certification maintenance, and business tools.

How do waived recertification/renewal fees work?

With NASM One, your recertification/renewal fees are waived while your membership is active. This means you won't pay extra to maintain your credentials, giving you peace of mind and uninterrupted career momentum. Late fees and petition fees are not included in the waiver, and standard recertification/renewal requirements still apply.

How is NASM One™ different from buying CEUs or certifications individually?

Buying courses individually means paying full price for each certification, specialization, and recertification cycle separately. NASM One™ bundles unlimited access to 400+ CEU/CEC-eligible courses, a 50% discount on most NASM certifications, waived recertification and renewal fees, and the EDGE Trainer Pro business platform into one annual membership. Members receive these benefits without managing separate purchases for each, which reduces the total cost of earning new and maintaining active certifications.

What do unlimited retests and extensions mean?

NASM One gives you the flexibility to retake your exam and extend your course access as many times as needed — at no additional cost. This removes the pressure of deadlines and exam attempts, allowing you to learn at your own pace and succeed on your schedule. Standard retesting wait periods still apply.

Does NASM One™ waive recertification and renewal fees?

Yes. While an NASM One™ membership is active, recertification, renewal, exam retest, and course extension fees are waived. Late fees and CEU petition fees are not included, and standard recertification requirements and retest wait periods still apply.

What are the terms and conditions?

*The exact number of courses may change over time. Not all courses are approved for NASM/AFAA CEUs — approved providers are clearly marked on each course description page. Standard suspension rules apply for course access.

**Certified Personal Trainer programs and bundles, Personal Trainer Certificate programs, exam-only purchases, workshops, Gymternship, Recertify-for-Life products, administrative fees, re-enroll packages, and courses already included in NASM One are excluded from the 50% discount.

How many courses can I take with NASM One™?

NASM One™ members get access to more than 400 courses in the CEU Library, with no limit on how many can be completed during an active membership. The exact course count may change over time.

What is EDGE™ Trainer Pro?

EDGE™ Trainer Pro is NASM's client coaching and business management app included with NASM One membership. It lets trainers manage unlimited clients, schedule sessions, deliver programs, track progress, and handle payments from one platform.

When can I access my NASM One™ benefits?

Benefits are available immediately after enrollment. Members log into the NASM customer portal where there are links to CEU courses and most resources associated with membership; EDGE Trainer Pro and certification discounts require logins to separate platforms.

Can I cancel NASM One™?

Yes, NASM One™ can be cancelled at any time, but the 12-month commitment means the membership remains active — and payments continue — through the end of the current annual term regardless of billing type. To stop auto-renewal, members must cancel before their next annual renewal date.

For monthly subscribers: all remaining monthly payments in the 12-month term are still due after cancellation. Access to membership benefits continues until the final payment period ends. For annual subscribers: the membership remains active through the end of the prepaid year. No additional payments are due after cancellation.

Cancelled memberships can be reactivated before the term ends; after expiration, a new subscription must be purchased.
