School Summary

CCSU's Exercise Science program trains students to be leaders in physical activity, exercise, and allied-health related professions through academic, practical, and research experiences. Students are prepared for employment in the fitness industry, including corporate wellness and strength and conditioning centers. This rigorous program also allows students to transition seamlessly into a graduate program or professional health-care degree program. Students are given the necessary cognitive and practical experiences for national certification through the American College of Sports Medicine, National Strength and Conditioning Association and the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
