CALABASAS, Cal. (March 1, 2010) – NASM is proud to support the development and professionalization of the health, fitness, performance and sports medicine industry through its higher education initiatives. The ability to deliver quality, innovative, online education programs has been a long-term goal for NASM.

Through our collaborative partnership with California University of Pennsylvania, NASM offers the Pursuit of Excellence Scholarship. Award winners of this one-of-a-kind scholarship receive full tuition funding (valued at over $15,000) to be applied toward a Master of Science in Exercise Science and Health Promotion at California University of Pennsylvania – in one of four specific tracks:
- Fitness and Wellness
- Performance Enhancement and Injury Prevention
- Rehabilitation Science
- Sports Psychology
The award will coincide with CalU’s July 2010 enrollment.
Applications are now being accepted and are due May 1, 2010.

Interested, but not eligible? Take your health and fitness career to the next level with a convenient online Bachelor of Science Degree from CalU. You can now receive your Bachelor of Science in Fitness and Wellness completely online in less time than a traditional, campus-based program. This program is designed for busy health and fitness professionals and will prepare students to work in fitness and wellness settings including fitness clubs, spas, corporate fitness, strength coaching, high school and collegiate athletics, and many other fitness and wellness settings.
Enrollment is limited, so if you are interested, contact bsfitness@calu.edu and specify that you are interested in the Bachelor of Science in Sport Management: Fitness and Wellness track. Financial Aid is also available for undergraduate CalU students.
