The Human Movement (M.S.) program at the Arizona School of Health Sciences at A.T. Still University (ATSU) offers college courses in human movement science through an online format for the highest quality education in human movement, performance enhancement, and corrective exercise. The human movement graduate degree program is offered in a format that enables healthcare and fitness providers to gain the knowledge and skills necessary to provide leadership in advanced human movement services. Students may choose from one of several specialty tracks within the degree program including Sports Conditioning and Geriatric Exercise Science. Each track consists of 4 specialized courses, which can also be completed as a post-graduate degree certificate for those already holding a master's degree. Students can also choose from a variety of elective courses in order to obtain knowledge in areas of specific interest.
Sports Conditioning Specialization/Post-graduate certificate: These courses focus on advanced exercise prescription and performance enhancement for athletes ranging from youth to elite/professional. Students develop knowledge regarding current practices for developing sport-specific fitness.
Geriatric Exercise Science Specialization/Post-graduate certificate: These courses examine exercise prescription and activity promotion among the aging population. Physical and psycho-social aspects of aging are addressed as well as intervention efforts to foster enhanced longevity and functional capacity throughout the lifespan.
Doctor of Health Sciences online: The Doctor of Health Sciences is a post-professional degree designed for master’s prepared healthcare professionals. The program focuses on critical analysis and evaluation of complex issues and challenges faced by today’s healthcare professionals. This advanced degree prepares graduates to better understand and effectively manage ongoing challenges of access, cost, and quality in healthcare; and skillfully analyze, plan, implement, and evaluate proposed solutions to these challenges.

Students are prepared to sit for NASM’s Certified Personal Trainer and Performance Enhancement Specialist certifications.
CalU Master of Science Degrees. NASM has worked closely with CalU to collaboratively develop an exciting, relevant and practical master's degree program that is delivered 100% online. Designed for the busy professional, CalU students can complete their degree in just one year while continuing their industry professions.
CalU Post-Masters Certificates. NASM has also worked closely with CalU to collaboratively develop an exciting, relevant and practical post-graduate certificate program that is delivered 100% online. Designed for the busy professional, who already posses a Masters degree in a related degree area (Exercise Science, Athletic Training, Physical Therapy, etc.), CalU students can complete a single certificate track by taking only four courses, while continuing their industry professions.
