Frequently Asked Questions

Question:

How do I check my eligibility to take the exam?

Answer:

Verify that your NASM account has been paid in full and that you have not exceeded your exam expiration date by logging onto your LMS Account.  You have 180 days (from the date of purchase) to attempt the examination.

If you do not take your test within 180 days from your purchase date your examination attempt will expire.  You may schedule another examination attempt by purchasing a retest (at an additional cost) at any time after your testing period has expired.

To test, you will need a current CPR and AED certification from the Emergency Care & Safety Institute, American Red Cross, American Safety and Health Institute, St. John Ambulance, Emergency Medical Technician, or the American Heart Association.
You must be at least 18 years of age.
