Job Description

The Sports Performance Program Manager will manage the overall education track of assigned projects in the area of Sports Performance.  This position will be responsible for the overall management of the department including, but not limited to, product development, department budget, training and development of staff, development of assigned products, assisting with review and beta testing as well as with ongoing revisions of sports performance education products, and serving as a resource to the sales department. 


Essential Duties and Requirements

  • Ability to establish timelines and meet deadlines for product development.
  • Provide clear guidelines to peers and consultants regarding product development.
  • Two year teaching experience as sports medicine faculty in practical, associate, diploma, or baccalaureate program.
  • Three years of sports performance training/coaching with athletes.
  • One year managerial experience.
  • Ability to conduct extensive beta testing and quality assurance checks on product prior to release.
  • Knowledge of current sports performance practice and sports performance education.
  • Experience in professional and original writing.
  • Ability to investigate and respond to client inquiries.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products, Adobe Acrobat, and the internet.  


Education and Credentials

  • Master's degree in Exercise Science or Sports Performance related field required
  • NASM PES completion required.
  • NASM CES completion preferred. (Required within first three months of employment)
  • NASM CPT credential preferred. (Required within first three months of employment)
